While the quality of the world was definitely up to standard, I was disappointed overall with this new game sequel. The Witcher's 'world' seemed to be less explorable and more confining than in the original and gave the feel of being 'herded'. In addition the requirement of having to respond to 'flash on screen' cues for some combat sequences was overly artificial and definitely distracted from the gameplay. Witcher 2 is still worth playing but will probably be a disappointment if compared to the original. |
