I went straight to 2 and then last year's Brotherhood and have never looked back. This series has become my most favourite game series and Revelations was therefore a lock for me. I knew going in that this would be "more of the same" since Ubisoft has already said this is a stop-gap release while they word on next year's AC3, which will...well, should be...a major leap forward for the series.That said, Revelations is still one of the greatest games I have played this year. It does play like Brotherhood but the setting is completely new. It's exotic, it's warm, it's sunny and has a level of detail never seen before. There is a million things to do, the storyline is better than that of Brotherhood, and you simply have to buy this just to see the visuals and take-in 1506 Constantinople, a gorgeous blend of Christian-European-Byzantine culture with Islamic Turkish culture.
