Unlike the majority of RPG's with a "Save the Kingdom/World from the evil supervillain" storyline, Persona 4 strives for something original. A murder mystery set in a small Japanese town has the police baffled. Only you and your friends have the power to see through the fog surrounding the mystery and find the true killer.* Gameplay is a wonderful mix of RPG turn-based battles and "Relationship Building". Meet and become friends with an eclectic cast. Flawless and amazing to look at! Plot: Original and full of twists. I can't say enough good words about this game. The characters are really easy to identify to and their story and personality is well developped. One thing I really appreciate among others is how you visit new places all along the game. You may think you've seen it all after 25-30 hours of play but no! There's so much more! The only thing I would dare to point as a negative is the somewhat linear gameplay during the first hours, wich is understandable considering the things you have to get acquainted with. Oh by the way you and your team can only achieved this by entering a alternate dimension through TV's called the midnight channel. There you fight creatures called shadows with your psychologically created demons called Persona's.Game play is like most rpgs, you fight monsters to gain experience and go up in level. Once you reach the end boss you defeat it and this progresses the plot. When your not busy thumping out monsters you have to go to school, which in this game doesn't suck. During your time at school and out in the town you goal is to increase your social links with other characters. This increases you and your teams Persona's powers for combat and provides the most fun in the game.
